Renaissance-man Andy Mingo will premiere his latest offering, Bravo America, at the Longbaugh Film Festival on Sunday, 27 April at 4:45 pm. The 20-minute short is adapted from a short story by Lidia Yuknavitch, and stars Ritah Parrish as a 30s-something urbanite who fantasizes about social disease amidst the moral degeneration of her de-gentrified neighborhood.
The film also features yours-truly’s little-big screen debut. I play the dumpy, basement of momma’s house dwelling flagwaver who organizes a watch program and terrorizes neighbors with his protofascist, in-your-face patriotism (needless to say, this is a character all-too-dear to my heart).
This, of course, you’ll truly have to see to believe.
