These images caught my eye this morning at PNCA:
The brownbag-on-canvas Rimbaud silkscreen is the top half of a two-piece installment by Joe McCracken, the bottom of which bears Blake’s famous doors of perception quote. The picture doesn’t do this installment justice or give a good sense of the piece’s proportion; I’d place the size around 4 X 6 feet.
The skull & crossbones Bush is a stenciled image spraypainted onto the public sidewalk along Johnson Street, between 12th and 13th. I’ve started seeing these around the city on fliers and oatmeal wraps; this is the first one I’ve seen on concrete.
