Careful what you wish for, folks, because you just might end up with the amazingly good fortune of making a friend like Matt Briggs in your lifetime. That he also happens to be an incredible, award-winning writer with that rare combination of passion and obsession for his chosen artform is, well, icing on the cake.

CCC Comics & Lit 2009: One More Time With Feeling

Here is the audio from the last class meeting of my winter term Comics & Literature course at Clackamas CC. After spending the two previous weeks discussing the original comics series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, we turned our full attention to Zack Snyder’s film adaptation and drew some interesting final conclusions about comics and film as disparate media. Great conversation, great group, great finish.
